Mr. Mwangi serves as IT Director at eManageAfrica a leader in Document Management and Disaster Recovery in Kenya after serving as the Manager of application development, information security, engineering, systems, and architecture groups at Kencall.
Before his tenure at eManageAfrica and KenCall, Mr. Mwangi was employed in the USA as a consultant, where he consulted in multiple multi-billion dollar companies like Plymouth Rock Insurance, Ajilon Consultants, Monster.com Inc, where he worked on software application development including web based, and client server applications.
Prior to working at these companies, Steve worked at Evare as an Automation engineer, on projects for banking clients including Bank Of America, J. P. Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Wachovia, JPM Chase Private Banking, Bank of NY, State Street Bank, US Bank, Fleet, Union Planters, Mellon, Citibank, The Fund Evaluation Group.
He began his career as a systems analyst with New England Financial, in Boston, MA.
Mr. Mwangi holds a BA in Computer Science from Cheyney University, is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional), and is affiliated with the local Kenyan PMI (Project Management Institute) chapter
